Woman uses online dating for meals

When it comes to getting a date, there's any number of ways people can present themselves and their interests.

One of the newer phenomena is a "foodie call" where a person sets up a date with someone they are not romantically interested in, for the purpose of getting a free meal.

These women score high on the 'dark triad' of personality traits as well.

Sometimes people simply enjoy each other’s company, and are ok with minor transactions taking place.

If they begin to feel used, they should certainly discontinue the relationship. The women I'm thinking of were all about changing the roles for women.

But, when Friday Night rolled around they would get all dolled-up and go to the bars and try to get guys they didn't know to buy them drinks. If the person still insists on buying, they usually do so for the whole table.

I then assume they’re just looking to talk/spend time with some women who seem to be having fun. In those situations, the guy hangs out for the night and becomes part of the group. He may buy more often, but I don’t see him as a way to shore up an underfunded night out.
